American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Had a meeting across the street and stumbled in here - tried the chocolate and noticed how it tastes more like real ingredients while the supermarket stuff tastes more like hardened cocoa butter. Naturally I think some HiFi speakers easily could do good things to the vibe but also liked how the focus is on making it, not so much selling it.

I've got a massive sweet tooth but I also try to eat food that is as minimally processed as possible/free of artificial chemicals. F&W is where I would point anyone looking for the highest quality, "clean" chocolate possible. I have three chronic health conditions, one of which is an AI disorder-another plus of getting treats at F&W, all their treats are so friendly for those with dietary restrictions-another big plus! My only reason for 4 out of 5 is I wish the prices were just a bit lower. I feel like I have to be really thoughtful about what I buy, because your tab can run up quickly and if they were at a slightly lower price point, I would absolutely buy more treats (maybe starting a rewards/discount program for repeat customers?) but I still overall, highly recommend. Plus it's always nice to support a small/non chain business. I've never been in person but I look forward to coming in sometime and trying one of their beverages as well. If you're looking for "guilt free" chocolate or just want an option for high quality treats, look no further. Oh and one of the best parts-they have vegan milk chocolate! The oat milk chocolate bars and spreads are WONDERFUL and it's nice

review from hot chocolate connoisseurs: you think you’re coming here for a cozy cafe. You step in through car wash flaps, and it’s a startup with every seat taken by an employee with a laptop. Is this a public cafe, or your private office? Enough about the vibe (which is bad) let’s get to the drinks. So many questions. How could a hot chocolate from a chocolate factory be so underwhelming? How can milk be burnt but also lukewarm? How can everyone be chill with a filthy espresso machine? Do you know what cafiza is? The samples were fire. Why did I have to use the samples to add into my hot chocolate to make it taste like chocolate? if you wanna hit [it] fine and raw , think again.

I placed an order on Dec, 27th of 2025 and received a shipping notification email on Dec 30 with a link to USPS. As of today (Jan 5, 2026, 6 days later), USPS tracking indicates they still have not recieved the package. I both emailed and called Fine and Raw; call went to voicemail. I have not gotten a response. Update: The company responded to my email shortly after I left my review on Google, and they apparently worked to get the package moving. I received everything today (Jan 8th), in good condition, and have already enjoyed some of it.

**Been a customer for years but never again!** I ordered a gift for my nephew becasue they said they would add ice packs. I paid for 2 day but they shipped it on a Thurday and it was not delivered till Tuesday. The package got hot enough for the hazlenut spread to ooze out of the lid. Customer service does exist. I got an email from a bot with no followup. I'm going through my Amex to get a refund since they just don't care enough to contact me about this problem.
